Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Senior Data Modeler & Analyst for a long-term contract (remote with travel) to design and govern enterprise data assets that drive reporting, analytics, and modernization initiatives. The role interfaces with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable data models, STMs, and technical specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in data modeling, data analysis, or data warehousing.
• Experience creating Source-to-Target Mappings (STM) and complex SQL.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define data entities, relationships, business rules, and transformations.
• Develop and maintain STM documentation to support data integration.
• Create complex SQL queries to profile data and validate requirements.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERwin or similar tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders on data solutions.
