Job summary

Content Manager data migration project seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support legacy-to-new platform migration. You will map data, define transformation rules, and validate data integrity across the lifecycle, coordinating with business and technical teams.

The role requires strong SQL skills, BRD creation, and experience in Agile or hybrid environments, ensuring a smooth migration and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data migration or system implementation projects.
• Strong experience with data mapping, source-to-target mapping, data analysis, and data validation.
• Experience working with legacy systems and migrating data to newer platforms.
• Ability to understand data models, field definitions, and data transformation requirements.
• Strong SQL/data-query skills for data analysis and validation.
• Experience creating BRDs, mapping documents, requirements, process flows, and data dictionaries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy-system data, business processes, and existing data structures.
• Gather and document business and data-migration requirements.
• Develop source-to-target data mapping between the legacy system and the latest Content Manager platform.
• Define data transformation, cleansing, validation, and conversion rules.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and migration risks.
• Work with business and technical teams to clarify data definitions and mapping decisions.
• Support migration testing, reconciliation, and data validation.
• Prepare mapping specifications, business rules, requirements, and supporting documentation.
• Track and resolve data-migration issues and support defect triage.
• Participate in migration planning, mock migrations, user acceptance testing, and final migration activities.
