Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst in Lorton, VA to join the Business Development team. The role focuses on market intelligence, data modeling, and visualizing government spending data using Excel and Power BI to support BD planning and capture efforts.

The candidate will collect, model, and present insights from federal procurement data, delivering reports and dashboards for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of market research, business intelligence, data analysis, or federal contracting BD experience.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling) and Power BI.
• Experience using federal market intelligence and procurement databases.

Responsibilities

• Research using GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, FPDS, and open-source sources.
• Model, clean, and analyze federal procurement and spending data; identify trends and agency patterns.
• Develop reports, data models, dashboards in Power BI and Excel.
• Prepare actionable intelligence for BD pipeline growth and capture efforts.
• Present findings to executives and cross-functional teams.
