Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to support the Data Security team in safeguarding sensitive data against insider risks. You will lead complex investigations, advise on controls across endpoint, network, and cloud, and develop DLP policies using Microsoft Purview.

Responsibilities include creating Splunk dashboards for monitoring, partnering with legal, HR, compliance, and privacy teams, mentoring junior staff, and documenting procedures to boost team effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, CS, or related field with 5-6 years of information security experience, specifically DLP or insider risk.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and Splunk required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS.

• Strong analytical skills for complex case management and understanding of data classification and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS).

• Preferred: over 3 years dedicated to DLP/insider risk.
