Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own data issue investigations from discovery through resolution. You will trace metrics through semantic layers and pipelines to identify root causes and ensure data quality across domains.

You will serve as the accountable Data Steward, defining KPI logic, data definitions, and governance rules, while mentoring junior analysts. Hybrid work is available in St. Louis or Newton locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data quality, or data governance.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to trace data lineage end-to-end.
• Experience with data catalogs and metadata tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data investigations and root cause analysis for data issues.
• Trace metrics through semantic layer, transformations, and pipelines to source systems.
• Document findings, business impact, and remediation for material issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into metrics and analyses.
• Maintain KPI definitions and data quality rules in the data catalog.
