Alignment Health is seeking a Principal, Data Governance Platforms to lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise governance capabilities across metadata, MDM, data quality and lineage. The role collaborates with data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture to implement scalable platform strategies.

You will ensure production-grade performance, audit readiness, and end-to-end data governance within modern cloud data environments.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data governance platform implementation.
• Experience implementing and operating enterprise-scale data governance or data management platforms.
• Experience integrating governance tooling into cloud-based data platforms and pipelines.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred; Medicare Advantage or payer experience is a differentiator.
• Experience implementing MDM, data catalog, or data quality platforms in a regulated healthcare environment.

Aufgaben

• Governance Platform Strategy & Architecture: Define the technology architecture for enterprise data governance capabilities.
• Platform Implementation & Lifecycle Operations: Lead implementation with engineering and IT teams and ensure production-grade standards.
• Data Lifecycle Capability Enablement: Embed governance controls into data pipelines and processing workflows.
• Data Integration & Workflow Automation: Design automated governance workflows within data pipelines.
• Lineage, Observability & Traceability: Maintain full data lineage and observability across ecosystems.
• Technical Governance Standards & Documentation: Establish standards and produce architecture documentation.
• Collaboration with Engineering & Enterprise Architecture: Align governance solutions with broader data/tech ecosystem.
