Job summary

ICW Group is seeking a Data Governance Lead to drive metadata management and establish governance standards across the enterprise. The role centers on leading metadata catalog efforts, setting data quality policies, and collaborating with business and IT teams to ensure accurate data definitions and usage.

Ideal candidates will bring 4–7 years in data governance or related fields, strong SQL skills, and experience with data catalog systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/IS required; Master’s preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in data governance or metadata management.
• Strong SQL and data quality experience.
• Experience with data catalog and metadata management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance support and metadata repositories.
• Configure and manage data catalog UI, templates, terms, and data asset curation.
• Document data assets and relationships in the catalog.
• Develop and enforce metadata standards and governance metrics.
• Collaborate with teams to capture metadata and ensure data quality.
