Logicalis is seeking a Principal Architect - Data Governance to shape and evangelize the data governance strategy within its IT portfolio. This senior technical advisor collaborates with Sales, the Overwatch Office, and security/ cloud teams to align governance across platforms and articulate value to customers.

Responsibilities emphasize pre-sales strategy, customer advisory, and technical alignment, with a focus on governance rather than analytics or BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT or security architecture roles.
• Deep experience with data governance, information protection, or compliance.
• Strong background in Microsoft platforms, security, identity, and hybrid cloud.
• Relevant industry certifications for area of focus or practice area.
• OEM-based certifications for area of focus or practice area.

Responsibilities

• Defines the enterprise data governance and information protection strategy aligned to core IT platforms with clear customer value propositions and use cases.
• Establishes governance architectures, patterns, and standards integrated with security, identity, cloud, and collaboration services including Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Platforms.
• Oversight of security services and the Overwatch Office (data risk, executive visibility, compliance readiness, identity governance).
• Aligns governance across Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure Platforms and ensures integration with security, identity, and operations.
• Leads or supports executive-level customer discussions, workshops, and roadmap conversations related to data governance and information protection.
• Ensures governance messages are simple, practical, and commercial across sales, delivery, and managed services teams.
