Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support the enterprise Data Governance Program in a hybrid role based in Richmond, VA. You will collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and IT teams to establish governance practices for data across the organization.

The role emphasizes metadata management, data quality, and data lineage in an AWS/Snowflake environment, with a focus on enterprise data assets and AI-ready data governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or related fields.
• Experience implementing or supporting enterprise Data Governance programs.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and validation.
• Experience documenting metadata, glossaries, data dictionaries, and governance artifacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Enterprise Data Governance Program and its ongoing maturity.
• Facilitate governance workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Onboard new applications and data sources into governance processes.
• Define and document governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and governance reports.
