Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior data architect to design enterprise data fabric solutions, enabling unified access to distributed data across on-premises and multi-cloud environments. You will integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging, and automated data integration into a connected data layer for analytics and AI.

You will define reference architectures, governance patterns, and enable data products with real-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture or enterprise data engineering.
• 6+ years designing data fabric solutions (data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs).
• 5+ years with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• 4+ years in data integration/ETL/ELT and metadata tooling.
• 3+ years in API and streaming architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (12 years' work experience if no degree).

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise data fabric delivering unified access to distributed data across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
• Integrate data virtualization, active metadata, knowledge graphs, cataloging, and automated data integration into a connected data layer for analytics and AI.
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance for enterprise scale.
• Enable self-service data consumption and data products with real-time delivery through the fabric.
• Apply data mesh concepts, cloud data platforms, and streaming APIs to client problems.
• Advise client architects and leaders as a trusted advisor on data modernization pursuits.
