Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Data Engineer for a remote, 6+ month contract to design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark within enterprise data ecosystems.

You will integrate data engineering solutions with the client’s Data Quality framework, develop optimized workflows, analyze requests to produce Design Documents and STTMs, and translate technical insights for stakeholders and business teams.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and enterprise cloud data platforms.
• Experience developing and executing unit tests, SIT plans, and defect tracking in ADO or similar tools.
• Experience executing testing cycles, defect lifecycle management, and progress reporting.
• Ability to support UAT cycles including environment preparation and defect triage.
• Preferred: experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
