Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a SaaS company’s Data & Analytics team in Atlanta. You will build and own data pipelines and models powering analytics and product features across a platform used by 300+ organizations, with Snowflake at the core.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to shape data strategy, governs best practices, and mentor teammates while growing into a technical leader on a team that values learning and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• 4-5 years of hands-on Snowflake experience (Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift experience also considered).
• 4-5 years of SQL experience.
• 3-4 years of Python experience.
• 2-3 years working with a BI/reporting tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• 2-3 years of data pipeline development experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on pipeline & dataset development (65%).
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering & Client Success (20%).
• Data governance, mentorship & process improvement (15%).
