Job summary

A dynamic startup is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to scale and evolve their data platform. You'll play a key role in shaping architecture while designing and implementing systems for data ingestion, storage, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially in data engineering, solid Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow. Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience, last 2-3 in data engineering.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Advanced proficiency in SQL.
Experience building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.

Responsibilities

Design and scale the data platform including pipelines, models, and frameworks.
Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from APIs, databases, and event streams.
Define and implement data ingestion, storage, processing, and transformation systems.
Build workflow orchestration using tools like Airflow.
Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and cost.
