Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Data Engineer to expand and optimize our data and data pipeline architecture, ensuring smooth data delivery for cross-functional teams. You will support data analysts and help maintain scalable infrastructure across ongoing projects.

Ideal candidates have experience in ETL, SQL/NoSQL and data warehousing, with proficiency in SAS, Python, Java and MatLab. You will work with executives, product, and design teams to drive data-driven insights and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5–8 years of related experience.
• Strong data engineering capabilities across ETL, SQL/NoSQL and data warehousing.
• Proficient in SAS, Python, Java and MatLab; able to design scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to automate manual processes and improve data delivery.
• Build the infrastructure for ETL from diverse data sources.
• Build analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide insights into customer acquisition and business metrics.
• Collaborate with Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for team members to optimize analytics production.
• Work with data and analytics experts to improve data systems.
• Other duties as required.
