Job summary

LendingTree seeks a data engineer to build scalable batch and real-time pipelines, design data warehouses, and apply AI tools to accelerate insights across lending and insurance. You’ll own data reliability, cost efficiency, and the quality of analytics products used by business and data science teams.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product partners, deliver maintainable data solutions in an Agile environment, and contribute to platform capabilities and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience including data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills including writing, tuning, and debugging complex queries.
• Experience designing data lakes and warehouses on scalable platforms with batch and streaming integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable batch and real-time streaming pipelines across multiple lines of business.
• Design dimensional models and reusable datasets for business, analytics, and data science.
• Own reliability and efficiency of data solutions; automate quality checks, monitor freshness, and manage costs.
