Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and own a globally deployed data platform supporting our warehouse, orchestration, and BI workflows. You will focus on Federal workloads and product portfolio while enabling production-safe autonomous data pipelines.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and data-modeling skills, with experience in cloud-based data platforms and governance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or backend software engineering.
• Experience owning production data infrastructure end to end.
• US Citizen with ability to gain TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines feeding warehouse and BI (Tableau).
• Build and operate data warehouse, orchestration, and BI platform across regions.
• Evaluate warehouse strategy including lakehouse platforms like Databricks.
• Define contracts between producer and consumer teams for batch/streaming.
