Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and maintain a data platform that delivers timely insights for operations and decision makers. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps to scale pipelines and codify infrastructure as code.

The role emphasizes strong SQL/Python data manipulation, data observability, and ELT/ETL workflow design across AWS/GCP/Azure environments. Remote-friendly with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science or similar.
• At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Experience with one or more major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL-based and Python data manipulation with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the data platform that serves timely data for operational teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to translate data into actionable insights.
• Work with DevOps to codify infrastructure as code and ensure scalable platforms.
• Deploy new data pipelines and design data observability platforms and metrics.
• Build metadata-driven pipeline solutions and integrate third-party data.
