Job summary

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and develop ETL processes across source feeds to SQL Server and Snowflake. You will work with Data Architects to model data for reporting and dashboards, and ensure HIPAA compliance throughout the SDLC.

Strong Python/SQL skills and cloud experience are required. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting deployments in Azure Databricks, and maintaining data integrity in a healthcare DoD-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and US citizenship.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
• 2+ years of Azure experience and 3+ years in data integration using Python, R, SQL, or equivalent.
• Experience with ETL of structured and semi-structured data.
• Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, and cross-functional requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL pipelines across source feeds to SQL Server/Snowflake.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to create data models for reporting databases.
• Implement changes and provide post-implementation support.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and client security policies.
• Serve as a technical resource for data users and project managers.
