Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer based in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on building and operating large-scale data and ML pipelines using Python, AWS, and modern orchestration tools.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize forecasting and ensure reliable, observable data workflows in production, across distributed Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python in data engineering and production systems.
• Proven track record building data pipelines and ML pipelines in production.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker for deploying ML models.
• Experience with AWS Glue for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with AWS Step Functions for workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate large-scale data and ML pipelines in production.
• Develop ETL workflows using Python, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Design and orchestrate workflows with Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Utilize AWS Glue for data processing and SageMaker for deployment.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize models.
• Improve pipeline reliability, performance, and observability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for the data platform and ML infra.
