You will design and migrate ETL pipelines with Python, SQL, and Java Spring Batch, work with AWS data services, mentor junior engineers, and help Capgemini unlock data value for clients.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Informatica, Python ETL, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Java Spring Batch.
• Experience with AWS-based data solutions.
• Strong understanding of data integration, workflow orchestration, and batch processing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess complex Informatica workflows and data processing frameworks.
• Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.
• Lead migration efforts from legacy ETL platforms to modern Python-based solutions.
• Develop and optimize batch-processing solutions using Java Spring Batch.
• Perform data profiling, impact assessments, and workflow optimization.
• Leverage Generative AI and Copilot capabilities to accelerate workflow analysis and modernization activities.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
