Job summary

Uline is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build and modernize data solutions that power analytics, reporting and decision-making across our North American operations. You will design scalable data pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive modernization initiatives and improve efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering, strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter and SSIS, plus Databricks and Azure familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 8+ years in data engineering.
• 5+ years of developing enterprise ETL/data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Databricks or similar technologies.
• Proven experience writing complex T-SQL and DB performance tuning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve data issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver impactful BI and data warehouse solutions that support Uline’s business growth across North America.
• Help drive Uline’s data modernization strategy by leveraging Azure, Databricks and AI automation to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Build scalable data engineering pipelines to enhance enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test and implement data warehouse applications.
• Maintain high-quality solutions through code reviews, coding standards and ETL testing.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of Data Engineers, promoting best practices and ensuring strong performance.
