Job summary

LMI is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to build authoritative data products and own data pipelines, models, and ontology within Maven or Palantir Foundry. This senior IC will make architectural decisions, build production systems, and drive the technical standard of the team.

The role requires onsite support at Fort Bragg, NC, with a target salary range of $128,301 to $190,653.79, and a Top Secret clearance. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience and strong DoD data platform skills.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience building production data systems.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or Maven.
• Top Secret clearance and experience with DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple Army and enterprise sources.
• Develop data models and ontology that support applications, reporting, and analysis.
• Design for data quality, lineage, security, observability, and long-term maintainability.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, source control, deployment, and operations.
• Partner with software engineers, product designers, and customer stakeholders.
• Review technical designs, mentor engineers, and resolve complex data challenges.
