Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and platforms using Java, Python, and cloud-native tools. You will deploy containerized workloads with Kubernetes, manage IaC with OpenTofu and Terraform, and lead CI/CD efforts across Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

You will work onsite from Nashville, TN or Plano, TX, collaborating across engineering, security, and business teams to deliver secure, production-grade data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years building production Java applications and data pipelines.
• Hands-on OpenTofu and Terraform experience anticipated; Kubernetes expertise required.
• Proficient in Python for data engineering; strong containerization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support scalable data engineering apps and pipelines.
• Build data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Develop production-grade data solutions using Java and Python.
• Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions; automate deployments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code with OpenTofu and Terraform.
• Develop AWS-based data solutions with security best practices.
• Monitor data flows and platform reliability using observability tools.
