Confidential, a super progressive INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT firm with offices in 15+ countries, is growing their engineering team and is looking for a Senior Data Engineer that will function almost at a Data Architect or Lead Data Engineer level and will lead end-to-end implementation of projects.

As a member of the Science Research Technology team, this individual will design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for the Science Analysts, especially in the Equity Investment space.

This super progressive INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT firm is growing their engineering team and is looking for "Senior Data Engineer" that will function almost at a 'Data Architect' or 'Lead Data Engineer'-level and will be responsible for leading end-to-end implementation of projects.

As a member of the Science Research Technology team, this individual will help design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for the Science Analysts, especially in the Equity Investment space.

Must be strong in all of the following:

• Python
• Snowflake
• AWS (IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation)
• Airflow
• Progressive AI tool adoption in daily workflows. Have an "AI-first" mentality and be an Artificial Intelligence power user).

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical degree is required, MS preferred, along with 10+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Python within atop Investment Management Firm like State Street, Fidelity, Goldman, KKR, etc.
• Must have experience focusing on the "Equity Investment Research Space" and has helped Data Scientists determine company and stock values and trends. Must have dealt with real-time mission-critical investment trading platforms. This job will be serving Stock Trading and Equity Valuations.
• MUST be an expert dealing with LARGE Data Set Parallel Processing and Multiple API Query Handling.
• MUST BE a great English communicator with ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment. Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross‑functional teams including data scientists, researchers, and business partners.
• Must work onsite in Boston 4 days a week, every week. Work from home on Fridays.
• For US-based candidates with the right skillset, we are able to transfer sponsorship of existing H-1B VISAs.
