Global Business Ser. 4u is seeking a Senior / Lead Data Engineer to join a mature enterprise data platform team built on Databricks, Spark, and DBT.

This role demands leadership, ownership, and the ability to drive work end-to-end across ingestion pipelines and gold-layer assets. You will mentor junior engineers, design scalable transformations, and collaborate with product stakeholders to translate data use cases into robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior/Lead engineer with ownership and accountability.
• Proven ability to drive solutions independently and mentor juniors.
• Experience with data ingestion, medallion architecture, and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of ingestion pipelines.
• Build refined (gold-layer) data assets using DBT and SQL.
• Author and manage DBT models/macros for reusable transformations.
• Work within a medallion architecture (bronze / silver / gold).
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to understand data use cases.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee progress.
