Job summary

Children's Mercy Hospital is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to advance the Diabetes Data Dock, a cloud-native data platform built on Microsoft Azure and Databricks. This role leads end-to-end data pipelines for the Rising T1DE Alliance, focusing on predicting clinical outcomes and ingesting patient-generated health data.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Healthcare Data Science (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of data engineering experience, or a Bachelor’s with 5–7 years in data engineering

Qualifications

• Master's degree plus 3–5 years in data engineering with cloud-native development.
• Alternatively, Bachelor’s plus 5–7 years of data engineering and architecture experience.
