Job summary

Greater New York Insurance Companies is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and Generative AI initiatives. This remote position requires experience in the insurance domain, particularly with Guidewire data models. You will be collaborating with analysts to deliver data solutions and ensure data integrity. The salary range is $61,700 - $109,500, with eligibility for annual bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive work experience in IT or a related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, particularly within insurance data models.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

Responsibilities

• Analyze integration and system requirements to design effective data solutions.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines for a Delta Lakehouse platform.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues.
