Job summary

Ethereum Technologies LLC is seeking a data engineer to develop Python data processing frameworks and scalable GCP pipelines. You will design data models for ML readiness using BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI features, and Bigtable.

You will implement robust monitoring, logging, and CI/CD practices, collaborate with teams to raise data quality, and contribute to shared tooling across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience building data processing pipelines and frameworks.
• Proficient in Python and data engineering best practices.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Ability to design scalable data models and warehousing concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD, code reviews, and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with ML workflows and feature stores a plus.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/Engineering/Math/Physics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Python frameworks and libraries for data processing.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting for data infrastructure.
• Build pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow/Composer on GCP.
• Design data models for optimal storage and ML modeling with Bigtable and Vertex Feature Store.
• Contribute to shared data tooling and standards to raise team productivity.
