Job summary

InventYOU AB is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise modern cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will develop scalable data pipelines, integrate multi-source data, and ensure data quality and performance across analytics workloads.

The role requires strong Python/Java, SQL, and experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, plus familiarity with streaming/batch processing and Spark or Kafka.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Data Engineer with strong cloud experience.
• Proven hands-on GCP expertise is mandatory.
• Strong programming in Python and/or Java; SQL proficiency.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data architectures.
• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and large-scale processing.
• Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and optimise cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Design data models and processing workflows for high quality data assets.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Develop batch and real-time data processing solutions; monitor pipelines.
