Balsam Brands is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and develop scalable data warehousing solutions. You will build data solutions from the ground up, optimize performance, and support enterprise data needs for a teleworker role with global overlap.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data engineering, strong Python, and Snowflake experience, plus multi-cloud familiarity. This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering.
• Hands-on Python experience required.
• Snowflake Cloud Data Platform experience.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines.
• REST APIs for data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable data solutions using Snowflake, dbt and Python.
• Lead migration of existing data platforms to Snowflake with minimal disruption.
• Manage full lifecycle of data in Snowflake from ingestion to analytics.
• Tune performance and troubleshoot Snowflake environments.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure for the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Champion data warehouse architecture including denormalized foundations.
• Define data source capture strategies and impact of process changes.
• Work on architecture, design, development, automation and performance tuning.
• Build infrastructure for efficient ETL from diverse sources on Cloud.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements for scalability.
• Work with Exec, Product, Data and Design teams on data needs.
• Explore Big Data, AI/ML and Predictive Modeling technologies.
