TheCorporate LLC is seeking a Data Engineer III in Oakland, CA to design, build and maintain data pipelines and analytic products for our growing analytics team.

You will collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, data analysts and data scientists to deliver scalable data applications, reports and dashboards while ensuring data quality and operational readiness. This 6-month contract offers opportunities to mentor junior engineers and influence data product decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a data engineer
• Hands-on experience with building data pipelines from ingestion to final object delivery.
• Experience with developing analytic applications, reports, or dashboards
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and complex data structures.
• Complete proficiency in Python
• Complete proficiency in PySpark
• Experience with Palantir Foundry platform and use of Palantir Tools (Workshop, Quiver, Contour, and Slate).
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBi.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with SMEs to design and develop data models, pipelines and front end applications.
• Implement data transformations to derive new datasets or create ontology objects necessary for business applications.
• Monitor and debug critical issues such as data staleness or data quality
• Improve on performance of data pipelines (latency, resource usage)
• Implement operational applications using Foundry Tools (Workshop, Quiver, and Slate)
• Implement data visualizations using Foundry Tools (Quiver and Contour).
• Maintain applications as usage grows and requirements change.
• Available for 7x24 operational support.
• Mentor junior data engineers.
