Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer to build and operate data pipelines on Palantir Foundry (Vantage) and Databricks in Pittsburgh, PA. You’ll lead ontology design, pipeline development, and data integration for Army AI2C mission apps, with responsibility for code quality and scalable data products.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years on Foundry, strong Python/SQL skills, and the ability to obtain an active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/related field.
• 3–5 years building/operating Palantir Foundry (Vantage) apps.
• Experience with Foundry pipeline development and ontology modeling.
• Databricks experience with notebooks and Delta Lake.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for pipelines and data manipulation.
• Familiar with Git, Agile, CI/CD and automated deployments.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering for Palantir Foundry (Vantage) and Databricks pipelines.
• Design ontologies and data integration for Army AI2C applications.
• Develop and optimize Foundry/Databricks workflows and notebooks.
• Translate analytics outputs into governed data products.
• Mentor team members and grow capabilities across Foundry and Databricks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, designers, and developers in Agile sprints.
• Engage Army stakeholders to identify platform needs and opportunities.
