Quento Technologies seeks a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer (ETL) to migrate legacy data and build scalable data pipelines across cloud-based platforms.

You will design ETL/ELT, develop Python scripts, optimize SAS workflows, and collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of professional practice in data management and software development.
• Strong background in software development and/or data engineering.
• Advanced Python programming skills for ETL/ELT solutions.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational databases.
• Experience migrating legacy data to cloud-based platforms.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Fluent English at CEFR C1 or higher.

Aufgaben

• Migrate legacy data collection and database systems to modern cloud-based data management platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT and data integration solutions.
• Develop and optimise Python-based scripts for data extraction, validation, transformation, and migration.
• Modernize SAS-based data processing and reporting workflows.
• Integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources into unified datasets and databases.
• Design and optimise database structures supporting analytical and operational workloads.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance for new and existing solutions.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of data pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and platform specialists.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
