Job summary

Peraton seeks a Data Engineer to support SITEC-3 at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.

You will design, deploy, and maintain data ingestion pipelines and edge processing to enhance threat visibility and compliance reporting for USSOCOM. Responsibilities include standardizing data tagging schemas, CIM mappings, and building robust data routes across on‑prem and cloud platforms while ensuring data lineage and secure transport.

Qualifications

• Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
• DoD TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and maintain robust data onboarding pipelines to ingest structured and unstructured telemetry into the enterprise deployment.
• Implement and optimize data routing, filtering, and masking at the enterprise edge.
• Design standardized data tagging and field extraction schemas, mapping sources to CIM.
• Develop add-ons to parse, clean, and enrich mission data sources prior to ingestion.
• Troubleshoot data parsing and time-stamping issues to guarantee search performance.
