Mission Federal Credit Union in San Diego seeks an Enterprise Data & Analytics Senior Data Engineer to help shape and expand its Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI environments. You’ll partner with business and technology teams to design, build, and optimize data solutions across the data lifecycle.

This role focuses on modernizing the data ecosystem, delivering insights, and guiding data platform initiatives with Azure analytics tools and SQL Server. Join an analytics-driven organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in database engineering and design in OLTP/OLAP.
• 5+ years building ETL/ELT with SSIS, ADF, Python.
• 5+ years creating enterprise reporting with Power BI and SSRS.
• Advanced SQL Server expertise (2016+).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and data models.
• Build and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions and data integration.
• Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS, ADF, Python.
• Design and maintain reporting using Power BI and SSRS.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions.
• Modernize data platforms with Azure technologies (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse).
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Support source control and SDLC with Azure DevOps and Git.
