Job summary

Connection is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and deploy data integration and migration solutions across corporate information systems. You will collaborate with the Manager of Data Engineering and IT teams to ensure robust data pipelines and timely delivery.

You will mentor juniors, lead production support initiatives, and maintain documentation while applying best practices for SQL Server/Oracle, SSIS, Databricks, and BI tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL programming skills with experience in relational databases.
• Experience with SQL Server or Oracle and cloud data solutions.
• Proficiency in SSIS and Databricks transformation capabilities.
• Familiar with version control tools such as GIT or Bitbucket.
• Ability to lead production support initiatives and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Develops database integration solutions from requirements through implementation.
• Designs and supports new or modified database systems with partners.
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring to developers.
• Leads complex production support initiatives and long-term solutions as appropriate.
• Provides on-call support for database integration solutions.
• Tracks project hours in time management software.
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
