Moody's is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for Cybersecurity to design, build, and scale data pipelines and cloud infrastructure powering critical security analytics.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and engineering teams, employing AWS and IaC tools (Pulumi, CloudFormation, Terraform) to deliver reliable data platforms for risk and audit programs.

For US-based roles, the base salary range is $116,500–$169,000 with incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Build scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for high-volume data platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines that ingest, transform, and route security event data at scale.
• Develop and support ETL processes that normalize and enrich data from multiple source systems.
• Build and maintain data warehouse and SQL datastore solutions supporting cybersecurity, audit, and compliance.
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Pulumi, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to provision cloud resources.
• Partner with cybersecurity, compliance, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance, scalability, cost, and reliability.
