The ideal candidate should possess over 8 years of experience, skills in Python, and strong client-facing abilities. The position offers a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $185,000 a year, reflecting the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional technical experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Data Architecture and Data Modelling.
• 4+ years of experience building highly scalable data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, and Snowflake.
• 4+ years of programming languages such as Python.
• 2+ years of experience working in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
• Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems.
• Create automated pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
• Implement custom applications using tools such as Kinesis and Lambda.
• Engineer and support data structures including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Maintain ELT processes for loading data lake (Snowflake, Cloud Storage, Hadoop).
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting challenges.
• Estimate and deliver work with other team members in a sprint.
