Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team seeks a senior data engineer to lead end-to-end initiatives, including Azure Databricks development and PySpark migration for scalable data integration in digital engagement.

You will serve as the primary liaison for clients and cross-functional teams, driving automation with Python and SQL, ensuring HIPAA/OIG compliance, and guiding data sourcing and analytics for member insights.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications, Computer Science, or a technology related field.
• Ten years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Three years of experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Oracle SQL, MS SQL, DB2, SSIS.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end data engineering initiatives including Azure Databricks development and PySpark migration.
• Act as single point of contact for client interactions, team management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Cascade client requirements across developers and spearhead automation with Python, SQL, PySpark and Azure Data services.
• Ensure quality control and performance evaluation across teams while maintaining HIPAA/OIG compliance.
• Lead stakeholder alignment and strategic data sourcing to power analytics for digital adoption.
