Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to transform complex data into scalable, reliable pipelines across a multiplatform ecosystem. You will build ETL processes, data models, and scalable storage, working with large datasets to support analytical and business needs.

You’ll collaborate with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, drive automation, perform root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers while applying best practices in CI/CD and data governance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with multi-year product/platform experience.
• 3 years of programming in Python and Java.
• Experience with SQL databases and at least 2 NoSQL/Big Data stores.
• Hands-on with data pipelines, ETL and modern data architectures.
• Familiar with Airflow, Spark, Kafka, DynamoDB, and containerized workloads.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and drive data quality improvements.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and be in office locations as needed.

Responsibilities
