Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of experience in large-scale software development, 5+ years in big data.
Proficiency in Python or Scala.
Experience with Hadoop and processing frameworks like Spark and Hive.
Experience with messaging/streaming tools and SQL analytics functions.
Experience with Airflow and source control (GitHub/Bitbucket).
Strong Agile/Scrum experience and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design and implement data products and features with product owners, analysts, and business partners using Agile/Scrum.
Contribute to architecture, frameworks, and patterns for processing and storing large data volumes.
Translate backlog items into engineering work and build distributed data processing pipelines.
Build utilities and libraries to enable data flow patterns and maintain high quality solutions.
Develop automated tests and participate in CI/CD efforts.
