Job summary

Heritage Construction + Materials is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines on a cloud data platform. The role focuses on Databricks/Snowflake integration, Delta Lake storage, and governance through Unity Catalog.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a data-driven environment, leveraging Azure services to ensure scalable, reliable data architectures and dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

5+ years of data engineering experience.
Proficient in Python/PySpark, SQL, or Scala.
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) and Databricks/Snowflake.
Experience with workflow orchestration (Databricks Jobs, Azure Data Factory).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and support data pipelines within a Cloud Data Platform.
Monitor and optimize Databricks cluster performance.
Implement and maintain Delta Lake for data storage and versioning.
Automate CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps.
Integrate Databricks with Azure services like Data Factory, Synapse, and ADLS.
Design monitoring solutions using Databricks tools and Azure Log Analytics.
