Job summary

Senior Data Engineer in Wroclaw, Poland (Onsite) is needed to design scalable data solutions, build ETL/ELT pipelines, ensure data quality, and support cloud-based analytics. You will work with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server within an international data team.

Requirements include 5+ years in data engineering, strong Azure/Spark skills, and experience with Python/Java/Scala. Agile/Scrum experience and Power BI knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ADLS, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL.
• Perform data integration, transformation, migration, and cleansing.
• Create and maintain SQL Server tables, views, and database objects.
• Optimize data workflows, performance, and automation processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data modelers, and agile teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in solution design.
