Innova Solutions in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a 6-month contract (W2). The role is onsite, with a focus on building data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and AWS services, while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity.

You will develop scalable APIs on AWS, optimize ETL processes, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliable data delivery and system performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with AWS ECS, Lambda, SNS, DynamoDB.
• Proficient in Python with PySpark for data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and data modeling including SCD concepts.
• Experience building/deploying APIs on AWS (ECS).
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and pipelines.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient Python code for large-scale data processing with PySpark.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and data structures in distributed environments.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data warehouses.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable APIs on AWS (ECS).
• Collaborate with teams to resolve cloud infra and performance issues.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
