Job summary

RADcube is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Indianapolis, IN to support a data and AI engagement for a client. The role requires deep hands-on experience with AWS and Databricks, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions and communicating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will design data pipelines, implement Delta Lake and Unity Catalog, and work onsite with a client-facing team to grow the engagement and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
• Strong hands on experience with AWS data services.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a client facing environment.
• Must be local to Indianapolis, IN and able to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on Databricks and AWS.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions using Spark, PySpark, and SQL.
• Implement Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows.
• Work with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
• Optimize pipeline performance, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to data architecture and solution design discussions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities where data and AI can address additional business needs.
• Contribute to the growth of the overall engagement.
