Job summary

INTELLITECH LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with Active DoD Secret clearance to build scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows in secure federal environments. You will integrate enterprise data sources, enable reporting, and support visualization on BI platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, and Palantir Foundry, and collaboration across engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data products that support mission-critical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience building or supporting data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience with modern analytics, BI, or data platform tools such as Databricks and Palantir.
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, dashboards, or data visualization use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, validate, and operationalize data from a variety of enterprise sources.
• Build and support data integration workflows across structured and unstructured data sources, including APIs, files, cloud storage, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Enable analytics and reporting by preparing curated datasets and supporting integration with BI tools such as Databricks and Palantir.
• Support data models, transformation logic, and reusable engineering patterns to improve data access and decision support.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver data products aligned to mission needs.

Position Overview

IntelliTech is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong Palantir Foundry experience and an Active DoD Clearance to support mission-critical programs focused on data integration, analytics enablement, and operational decision support in secure federal environments. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable data pipelines, integrate enterprise data sources, and enable reporting and visualization workflows across modern analytics and BI platforms.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, data pipeline development, and enterprise analytics platforms such as Databricks and Palantir. This role is designed for an engineer who can support the full lifecycle of data solutions—from ingestion and transformation through validation, analytics enablement, visualization support, and sustainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, validate, and operationalize data from a variety of enterprise sources.
• Build and support data integration workflows across structured and unstructured data sources, including APIs, files, cloud storage, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Enable analytics and reporting use cases by preparing curated datasets and supporting integration with BI and analytics tools such as Databricks and Palantir.
• Support the development of data models, transformation logic, and reusable engineering patterns that improve data access, decision support, and operational visibility.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience building or supporting data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions in enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mission‑oriented analytics, logistics, operational, financial, or other large‑scale federal data environments.
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, Databricks notebooks, semantic models, BI dashboards, or enterprise reporting pipelines.
• Experience with Palantir platform components, including Foundry, ontology concepts, or data workflows.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD workflows, and modern software delivery methodologies.
