Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data solutions. You will work with large datasets, real-time processing frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms to enable data-driven decision-making for our clients.

You will build pipelines with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Flink; transform data for analytics and ML; ensure data quality, security, and compliance; collaborate with data scientists and analysts; automate workflows and stay

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering, data processing, and analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and Hive.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python for data processing and analytics.

Senior Associate Data Engineering L2

As a Senior Associate Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Big Data solutions. You will work with large datasets, real-time processing frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms to enable data-driven decision-making for our clients.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python for data processing and analytics.


• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.


• Strong understanding of distributed computing, data streaming, and real-time processing.


• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data lakes.


• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality data solutions.

Set Yourself Apart With

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.


• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data science workflows.


• Certifications in Big Data technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Cloudera Certified Professional).


• Experience in financial services, e-commerce, or supply chain industries.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $165,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
