The team are looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer, to join the existing team of 5 people to help design, build and maintain their core data platform and pipelines. You will have full ownership from end to end on these projects as well as the ability to shape and build their system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, well-tested, and scalable data software
• Own projects end-to-end—from architecture and implementation to deployment and long-term maintenance
• Lead feature development, breaking complex initiatives into clear, manageable components
• Contribute to Agile team practices, including sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and demos
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Backend Engineer, or Software Engineer
• Strong experience with SQL/No SQL, Java or Scala
• Hands‑on experience with the AWS
• Experience building large‑scale streaming and batch data pipelines (Kafka Streams, Flink, Spark Streaming, Spark SQL, etc.)
