Job summary

Lumiture is building next-generation data platforms that fuse AI, data, and modern engineering to power intelligent experiences across industries. We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build a robust Databricks-based analytics platform, supporting a government-facing product with high visibility.

You will design data pipelines, integrate multiple source systems, and collaborate in an agile team to deliver data-driven insights and scalable infrastructure for a rapidly evolving product.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex, enterprise-scale data environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks to build scalable analytics platforms.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple source systems and data feeds.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance a robust data analytics platform in Databricks for product analysis.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in building a robust data analytics platform in Databricks that will support a skilled team of data professionals conducting product analysis on a highly visible online product.

In this role, you will work across multiple source systems, transforming how data is accessed, managed, and utilized across the organization. You’ll collaborate in an agile software development environment with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that empower data-driven decision‑making.

What You'll Have Opportunities to Do:
  • Design, build, and enhance a robust data analytics platform in Databricks to support product analysis and reporting

  • Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and mission impact
What We're Looking For:
  • US Citizens or Dual Citizens only
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with complex, enterprise-scale data environments
  • Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines and modern data infrastructure
  • Hands‑on experience with Databricks and building scalable analytics platforms
  • Experience working across multiple source systems and integrating diverse data sources
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data management, and infrastructure optimization
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Kafka streaming
  • Batch ETL workflows
  • API data interfaces
  • Ability to improve data quality, availability, and scalability across data platforms and feeds
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
