We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build and evolve a modern cloud-based data platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with data engineering while also working closely with business and technical teams to turn data needs into scalable, high-value solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows, integrations, data models, and APIs across a variety of data sources.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand data needs, prioritize initiatives, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Help shape the roadmap for data products, platform enhancements, and future-state architecture.
• Improve data quality, accessibility, performance, monitoring, metadata, and lineage.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to CI/CD, automation, source control, and cloud engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and help mentor other members of the data engineering team.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, orchestration, system integrations, and data modeling.
• Understanding of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and governance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in energy, utilities, commodity markets, industrial, or other asset-intensive environments.
• Exposure to enterprise data governance and modern cloud data architectures.
• Experience building data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
